STEM: La Salle Achieves Double Gold and Overall Champion Title at Roboneo 2025

Two teams representing SM La Salle Kota Kinabalu delivered outstanding performances at the Roborneo 2025 competition, securing two Gold medals and the Overall Champion title in the IoT Hackathon category. The first team, mentored by Teacher Alfinie obtained a Gold medal and the title of Champion, along with a cash prize of RM2000. The team members were Jayden (3V), Izzat (3V), and Avan (3V).
Meanwhile, the second team, mentored by Teacher Lily earned both the Gold medal through a project that demonstrated strong technical skill and innovation. The team members were Zahreen (4S), Amat (4S), and Md. Hafiz (4S).
"I want to say I am very grateful for this opportunity and support from my family and teacher, especially my teammate (Jayden and Avan) and mentor teacher (Teacher Alfinie). I also want to congratulate Zahreen's team on winning a gold medal. We are pleased to know that we can make La Salle proud with our achievements" - Said Izzat (3V)
"Even though we didn't win any money, we are very proud of our achievement as we believe we made the top 5. This competition has given by far the most experience compared to other STEM innovation competition. In addition, we as teammates have grown better bonds with each other. We have zero regrets joining. We go for gold!" - said Zahreen (4S)
